Since 1992, Lignotrend has been manufacturing high-performance cross-laminated timber products in the southern Black Forest – from its own sawmill to the end product. Our claim: maximum naturalness. That is why we mainly use local wood ‘as it grows’, do not use chemical wood preservatives, use glue sparingly and have our products certified according to the strictest building biology standards. Building certification systems such as DGNB or Minergie-eco expressly recommend Lignotrend for sustainable construction.

Acoustic panels – naturalness meets design   

One focus is on acoustic panels, which we supply to interior design companies, carpenters and ambitious DIY enthusiasts. Unlike many of our competitors, we consistently use real wood and generally avoid heavily processed materials. The result: authentic surfaces and exceptional design quality.

The second business area is load-bearing components for timber construction, which Lignotrend supplies to carpenters and timber construction companies. With the development of configurable cross-laminated timber elements, Lignotrend has been a pioneer in material efficiency and multifunctionality.
