Acoustic panels by Lignotrend are certified sustainable - from regional production in the southern Black Forest to tested freedom from emissions for an outstanding indoor climate.
natureplus
LIGNO® Acoustic is natureplus®-certified. The product therefore meets the highest requirements for a healthy indoor climate, sustainability and climate protection. According to comprehensive testing, the ECO criteria of Minergie are fully met. natureplus® is recognised at European level in building certification as equivalent proof to the Swiss Minergie-ECO label (characteristic values on request).

The certificate under Directive RL0211-0606-014-1 covers the untreated base element in silver fir/spruce.
The standard absorber _a70g made from wood fibre is included in the certification.
IBR
The Institut für Baubiologie Rosenheim has subjected surface-finished variants of the LIGNO® Acoustic panels to rigorous testing for potentially harmful substances. The lacquered (_bl), oiled (_bh) and light-protection (_buv) finishes of the panels with a silver fir surface have also passed laboratory tests - e.g. for VOC - and are recommended by the IBR as outstanding for indoor air quality.
The elements have also been classified according to the French VOC regulations - Émissions dans l'air intérieur. Testing to ISO 16000 standards is required in France for interior finishing materials and furniture. LIGNO® Acoustic achieves Class A.
DGNB
When assessing the sustainability of buildings, a high level of transparency regarding the eco-performance of building products is required. As this is a key lever for future-oriented construction, Lignotrend makes extensive data available. The listing of LIGNO® products in the DGNB Navigator, the comparison and selection tool of the German Sustainable Building Council, underpins the recommendation for future-ready construction. Data on environmental impacts, life cycle cost calculations, energy requirements and emission characteristics of all products are freely accessible to members of planning and construction teams.

PEFC
When using timber as a raw material, origin is the most important criterion. Lignotrend predominantly uses timber from forests in the region, where sustainable management would be a matter of course even without certification (e.g. silver fir). Nevertheless, we ensure that a PEFC declaration is in place for the timber, and in doing so also cover a large proportion of the special timber surfaces from trees that do not grow in the vicinity of our production site. With the more comprehensive Chain-of-Custody verification to the PEFC Chain of Custody standard, Lignotrend itself is also certified. It makes the flow of timber all the way to our own production transparently traceable.
