They like to use wood as a building material, as in the case of the day-care centre in Hohentengen. With the multifunctional cross laminated timber components from Lignotrend, the planners solved several requirements at once: the decisive factor here was the simultaneous possibility of bridging large spans and creating excellent room acoustics with the best sound insulation and high-quality design. The prefabricated elements achieve faster construction progress and save expenses that would inevitably be incurred with other construction methods right from the start. In this way, even supposedly uneconomical architecture becomes cost-efficient.
